About Us

Karen Selig, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a board certified speech language pathologist, and has been, for over 16 years. She has successfully worked in hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation centers and at skilled nursing facilities. Ms. Selig graduated with a Master’s Degree from California State University, Sacramento, (CSUS). Ms. Selig has privately contracted with corporations, nonprofit agencies and other medical facilities to provide speech pathology services with an emphasis on neuro-rehabilitation of strokes, traumatic brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and those with Parkinson’s Disease. Ms. Selig maintains training and a keen interest in the latest and most effective, research-based therapy, such as Lee Silverman Voice Techniques, Vital Stim therapy for swallowing and oral facial myology. She is dedicated to providing top-notch and effective therapy to each and every one of her clients.

Personally, Karen enjoys spending time with her college-bound daughter Jana and taking road trips to California. She likes making mosaic art, listening to eclectic music and freelance writing. Karen shares Walt Disney’s motto: “If you can dream it, you can be it.”
